Dust resistance testing machine is used to conduct dust and dust resistance tests on various parts of steam turbines and vehicles. Its main tests include floating dust (F) and flowing dust (C), and the test parts include car lights, instruments, seat belt retracters, seat adjusters, electrical dust covers, steering system shift lever shafts, door locks, etc. to test their dust resistance and safety.

The dust test complies with IEC60529, IP5X, IP6X, and there is also a MIL/STD 810D dust and sand resistance test.
Structure and characteristics:
The overall structure of the test box consists of: studio, air duct system, electrical control cabinet, vacuum pump system, and power supply. Convenient for centralized control of vacuum pump, installation of power supply and lower position of the box, and placement of electrical control cabinet on the side of the test box for easy operation,
Working principle of the test box:
Centrifugal fans are the main energy source for dust movement, and the high-speed operation of the fan blades allows dust to be sucked into the fan. Due to the centrifugal force of the fan blades, dust enters the dust pipeline. The wind speed entering the pipeline generally exceeds 7.5m/s (if the wind speed is too low, it will cause dust to settle in the pipeline and cause the test pipe to malfunction). The dust pipeline sprays into the test chamber from the top and passes through the sample at a speed greater than 2m/s. Due to the funnel-shaped shape at the bottom of the work box, the settled dust can slide into the 72X50um filter screen at the bottom. Through the vibration of the vibrating motor, dust smaller than the diameter of the filter mesh is sucked in by the centrifugal fan for reciprocating circulation.
