Main use:

Test the color fastness of fabrics when exposed to nitrogen oxides produced by gas combustion. Including testing room, combustion chamber, control box, observation door, control panel, timer, temperature controller, air valve switch, fan, and smoke exhaust device.

The smoke color fastness testing system places the sample in a certain concentration of smoke environment until a certain color change occurs or after a specified time, it is compared with the standard graphics card

This machine is suitable for testing the color fastness of all textiles, except for loose fibers, to exposure to atmospheric nitrogen oxides generated by the combustion of chemical butane gas or urban gas.

The textile sample and control standard are placed simultaneously in the gas smoke until the color of the control standard changes to a color equivalent to the fading standard. Use a gray sample card to evaluate the discoloration of the sample. If no discoloration of the sample is observed after one test cycle, the specified number of test cycles or the required number of test cycles to produce the specified discoloration of the sample can be continued.

The smoke color fastness tester observes the color change process of the tested fabric after being exposed to nitrogen oxides produced by gas combustion for a certain period of time.

This machine consists of a combustion chamber, a testing chamber, an exhaust outlet, a control panel, etc. The combustion chamber includes a Bunsen burner, an automatic ignition device, etc. The testing chamber includes a rotating specimen clamp, an observation lamp, etc. The control panel can set the test temperature and time, as well as the over temperature alarm time.

During operation, the machine can automatically detect the temperature value in the testing room. If it is lower than the set value, it will automatically ignite and heat up. When it reaches the set value, it will automatically shut down and the flame size can be manually adjusted.


Experimental principle:
