The protective clothing and mask Leakage Test System uses "inward leakage (%)", which is the ratio of the concentration of pollutants in the ambient atmosphere to the concentration of pollutants in the suit, to evaluate the quality of protective clothing.

What are the characteristics of the protective clothing and mask Leakage Test System
A standard aerosol of sodium chloride particles is generated in the test chamber, where subjects wearing test protective clothing perform a predetermined test exercise. Measure inward leakage at each sampling location within the garment by flame photometry. We use the following indicators to judge the quality of protective clothing.
- Lijimn: endoleak given a test subject (i), suit (j), movement (m) and sampling location (n)
-Cijmn: aerosol concentration measured at a sampling point within a suit given a test subject (i), suit (j), movement (m) and sampling location (n)
-LS: total inward leakage per garment (average across all exercises and sampling locations)
-LH: total inward leakage per human subject (averaged for that subject over all movements, sampling locations and clothing worn)
-LE: total inward leakage per exercise (average across all suits and sampling locations)
-Lp: total inward leakage per sampling location (average across all sets and exercises)
-LEP: total inward leakage per sample location and per movement (average across all sets)
-: Average total inward leakage (average across all subjects, garments, exercises and sampling locations)
