The usage methods and skills of the reducer

A reducer is a transmission device used for low speed and high torque, which uses a speed converter of gears to reduce the rotation of the motor to the desired number of rotations;

And obtain a mechanism with a larger torque. Its main function is to reduce speed while increasing output torque. The torque output ratio is based on the motor output multiplied by the reduction ratio, but it cannot exceed the rated torque of the reducer.

Usage tips:

1. After running for 200-300 hours, the first oil change should be carried out, and the quality of the oil should be regularly checked in future use. Any oil mixed with impurities or spoiled should be replaced in a timely manner.

In general, for reducers that operate continuously for a long time, they should be replaced with new oil after 5000 hours of operation or once a year. For reducers that have been out of service for a long time, they should also be replaced with new oil before resuming operation.

The reducer should be filled with oil of the same grade as the original, and should not be mixed with oil of different grades. Oil of the same grade but with different viscosity is allowed to be mixed;

2. When changing the oil, wait for the gearbox to cool down and there is no risk of combustion, but still keep it warm;

Because after complete cooling, the viscosity of the oil increases, making it difficult to drain the oil.

Attention: Cut off the power supply of the transmission device to prevent accidental power on;

3. During work, when it is found that the oil temperature rises above 80 ℃ or the oil pool temperature exceeds 100 ℃ and abnormal noise is generated, the use should be stopped, the cause checked, the fault must be eliminated, and the lubricating oil must be replaced before continuing to operate;

4. Users should have reasonable usage and maintenance rules and regulations, and carefully record the operation of the reducer and any problems found during inspection. The above regulations should be strictly implemented.
