What is fluoride? Detection standards for fluoride

Fluorides are widely present in natural water, non-ferrous metallurgy, steel and aluminum processing, glass, phosphorus fertilizer, electroplating, ceramics, pesticides, and other industries. Wastewater and fluorine-containing mineral wastewater are anthropogenic sources of fluoride pollution. On October 27, 2017, the International Agency for Research on Cancer of the World Health Organization released a preliminary list of carcinogens for reference, which includes fluoride (inorganic substances added to drinking water) as a category 3 carcinogen.
