I apologize for the confusion in my previous response. In the ISO 105-C06 standard, which specifies the method for color fastness to domestic and commercial laundering, the rating scale does not have specific intervals defined between the ratings. Instead, it provides a descriptive scale for assessing color change. The ratings in ISO 105-C06 are as follows:
1. No color change: No change in color is observed after washing.
2. Slight color change: Slight change in color is observed but is considered acceptable.
3. Moderate color change: Noticeable change in color but still within an acceptable range.
4. Marked color change: Significant change in color, which may be considered unacceptable.
5. Severe color change: Severe change in color, considered unacceptable.
ISO 105-C06 focuses on the visual assessment of color change rather than using specific numerical intervals between the ratings. The color change is evaluated by comparing the tested sample with the original sample or a control fabric.
It's important to note that my knowledge cutoff is in September 2021, and there may have been updates or revisions to the standard since then. It's always recommended to refer to the latest version of the ISO 105-C06 standard for precise details and any changes in the rating scale or evaluation criteria.
