In addition to some of the common standards mentioned previously, here are some examples of fabric shrinkage testing standards used in other countries or industries:
1. EN ISO 6330: This is a standard published by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) entitled "Textiles - Domestic washing and drying procedures for textile testing". This standard specifies household washing and drying procedures for textile testing, including measurement of fabric shrinkage.
2. JIS L 1909: This is a standard published by the Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS), titled "Testing methods for shrinkage of woven and knitted fabrics". This standard provides test methods and conditions for measuring fabric shrinkage.
3. BS EN 20079: This is a standard published by British Standards (BS), titled "Textiles - Tests for color fastness - Color fastness to rubbing" (Textiles - Color fastness tests - Color fastness to rubbing). Although this standard focuses more on color fastness testing, it also includes one of the methods for evaluating fabric shrinkage.
4. AATCC TM135.1: This is the standard test method issued by the American Association of Textile Chemists and Dyers and Finishers (AATCC), called "Dimensional Changes in Automatic Home Laundering of Woven and Knitted Fabrics - Washer/Dryer Capacity 1.8 kg (4 lb)" (Test Method for Dimensional Change in Machine Washable and Knitted Fabrics - Washer/Dryer Capacity 1.8 kg (4 lb)). This method is a fabric shrinkage test for small washer/dryer capacities.
These standards are widely used in their respective countries or industries for measuring fabric shrinkage. If you need to conduct fabric shrinkage testing in a specific country or industry, please refer to the applicable local standards or industry specifications to ensure that the testing meets the relevant requirements.
