The ageing test is mainly a thermal and oxygen ageing test for rubber, plastic products, electrical insulation materials and other materials; or a gas exchange ageing test for electronic parts and plasticised products.
According to the number of aging test products are divided into 2 kinds of methods of testing.
1, ageing box; mainly for plastic products, and the number and volume of products is not very large is more practical
2, aging cabinet or aging room; mainly for high-performance electronic products simulation out of a high temperature, harsh environment testing equipment, is to improve product stability, reliability of the important experimental equipment, is the production enterprises to improve product quality and competitiveness of the important production process, the equipment is widely used in power electronics, computers, communications, biopharmaceuticals and other fields
The main ageing test items are.
1, light aging test + wavelength range: xenon arc lamp aging (300-800nm), ultraviolet lamp aging (280-400nm), carbon arc lamp aging (300-700nm), metal halide lamp aging (280-3000nm).
Main reference standards: GB/T 7141, ASTM D3045, JIS K 6257, etc.
3、Humidity and heat aging
Main reference standards: Common standards are GB/T 15905, GB/T 2573, etc. In addition, the humidity and temperature change curves can be set according to different product standards and enterprise standards, which are suitable for various complex damp heat aging tests. During the use of products, they are easily affected by both temperature and humidity. For some water-sensitive materials, such as PET, PBT, etc., damp heat ageing tests are required to assess whether they are suitable for long-term use in a humid environment.
4、Salt spray ageing
Main reference standards: GB/T 10125, GB/T 12000\, ASTM D117, JIS Z2371 and other standards for neutral salt spray, acid salt spray, copper ion accelerated salt spray test. Mainly used to simulate the corrosion effect of sodium chloride dissolved in water vapour in the atmosphere on coatings, plating and other protective processes as well as metal ground materials, especially in coastal areas and inland areas around salt lakes, where the salt content in the air is high and products are easily corroded by salt spray. Mainly applicable products: all kinds of coatings, such as architectural exterior coatings, marine coatings, coatings for cargo containers, etc., all kinds of plating.
Main reference standards: GB/T 7762, GB/T 24134, GB/T 13642, HG/T 2869, JIS K 6259, ASTM D 1149, mainly to examine the ozone resistance of rubber (rubber contains a large number of double bonds, easy to be attacked by ozone, especially in dynamic use or stretching, ozone damage to rubber more serious), can also be examined TPU, EPDM and other new elastomer ozone resistance performance.
6、High and low temperature cycle
The main reference standards: GB/T 2423, JG/T 25 and other standards for the determination of freeze-thaw cycle resistance of architectural coatings. It is mainly used for testing architectural coatings and equipment used in special environments.
