Regular rotation of the UV lamp can maintain the shape of the lamp well and stabilize the output. UV lamps generate intense long-wave UV radiation (main radiation 365 nanometers) through a high-pressure vapor discharge. High-intensity ultraviolet rays can burn eyes and skin, and direct lighting should be avoided when using.

The UV lamp needs reasonable cooling, because the surface temperature of the lamp body will be as high as several hundred degrees Celsius in order to achieve the experimental output power. Therefore, the air volume for cooling the surface temperature of the lamp body needs to be reasonably designed, otherwise the normal output of the UV lamp will be affected. When the cooling air volume is too large, the UV lamp may not be able to light up normally if the output power is not reached, but when the cooling air volume is too low, the UV lamp is not well cooled, the lamp body is overheated for a long time, the lamp body may expand, and the electrodes Blackening, shortening the service life of the UV aging test chamber. Regularly check the air duct to see if the ventilation is unobstructed.

It is recommended to place the equipment in a well-ventilated place (install a ventilation fan, keep the room ventilated), do not install it in a dusty place, prohibit chemicals from contacting the UV aging test chamber and keep away from combustibles. After each test, take out the sample, discharge the waste water, clean the inside of the equipment, keep the appearance of the box clean and avoid dust intrusion into the box.
