The new Random Tumble Pilling Tester, which determines the resistance of woven and knitted fabrics to pilling and fuzzing has been developed with efficiency, convenience and ease of use in mind. The instrument can incorporate air injection with air pressure being adjustable. A special safety visor enables quick and easy sample changes whilst allowing full view of samples being tested.
The new Pilling and Snagging Tester facilitates pilling and snagging testing using the pill box method but with enhanced safety features as result of a cylindrical outer housing to each chamber. The instrument can be supplied in a choice of chamber multiples and with a variable speed drive.
The new Friction Tester for Nonwovens combines simplicity with effectiveness for the friction testing of nonwoven fabrics to ISO and Edana standards. The instrument can test fabric to fabric friction or fabric against another surface.
Two new Digital Thickness Testers were presented, each specifically designed to meet standard test methods for the testing of bulky nonwovens up to 20 mm, and greater than 20 mm respectively.
