In an experimental dust chamber, the test product is exposed to a vertical, non-laminar airflow containing a specified amount of dust. For this purpose, the test dust should be stirred and blown into the sealed test chamber. If specified in the relevant specification, the sample shall be connected to a vacuum pump for pumping so that the gas in the dust-containing test chamber enters the sample through a slit, sleeve or other similar component. The pressure drop should be able to be adjusted and monitored, and the pumping rate measured.
Experimental sand and dust test chambers can be divided into two types of sample enclosures, depending on the operating conditions of the sample:
Type 1: The air pressure inside the sample enclosure is the same as the outside air pressure. For samples with type 2 enclosures, place in the test chamber and install in the normal use position. All open holes are kept open.
Type 2: The pressure inside the sample housing may be different from the outside atmospheric pressure, for example due to the thermal cycle during operation. For samples with type 1 enclosures, placed in the test chamber and installed in the normal operating position, connect a vacuum pump so that the pressure inside the sample is below atmospheric pressure. For this purpose, a suitable hole should be provided in the housing. If the sample wall already has a drainage hole, the vacuum hose should be connected to that hole without re-punching it. If there is more than one drainage hole, the vacuum tube should be connected to one of the holes and the other holes should be sealed during the test.
Dustproof test chamber for the test workpiece placement requirements and solutions:
First, the sample volume should not exceed 25% of the volume of the test chamber, and the sample base should not exceed 50% of the horizontal area of the test chamber work space.
Second, if the sample size does not meet the previous article, the relevant specifications should provide for the use of the following methods:
1, test with the original sample has the same design details of the small sample.
2, test samples with representative components, including, for example, doors, ventilation doors, standoffs, sealing shafts and other components, including fine parts of the product during the test, such as terminals, collector rings, etc. should remain in place.
3、Separately test the sealing part of the sample.
