The water vapor permeability tester is used to measure the impermeability of various textiles that have undergone waterproof treatment, such as canvas, tarpaulin, tent cloth, tarpaulin, rainproof clothing cloth and geotextile materials.

Function description of water vapor permeability tester:
This instrument can do various water permeability experiments of tarpaulins, and provide various test methods such as pressurization, constant pressure timing, constant pressure timing, flexural relaxation, and water leakage.

Key Description:
1. Emergency stop button: During operation, when the instrument fails, press this button to quickly disconnect the motor power to avoid more serious damage to the instrument.
2. Add water key: Press this key to add water before experiments such as pressurization, constant pressure timing, constant pressure timing, flexural relaxation, etc., so that the cylinder is filled with water for normal testing. (Note: You only need to add water once for each batch of testing)
3. Left cursor key: Before the experiment, fill in the water and clamp the pattern, you can press this key to enter the calibration state, in this state, press the right cursor key to reset. (Note: The instrument must be cleared under natural water pressure, otherwise unpredictable results may occur)
4. Setting key: In the standby state, press this key to set the parameters through the cooperation of the left and right cursor keys.
5. Right cursor key: After the water leakage method is performed, if the pressure is still high at the end of the test, you can press this key to release the water and release the pressure. Press the key again to exit the water release state.
6. Retrieval key: In the standby state, press this key, in conjunction with the right cursor key, to query the test data. This instrument can save ten times each of the pressure and constant pressure chronograph test data.
7. Stop button: in any test state, you can press this button to stop the test; in the standby state, you can press this button to return the piston, generally used to return the piston after a failure.
8. Start key: After preparing for the test, press this key to start working.

The water tank needs to be filled with water before the test. Preparations before the test:
Before doing the pressurization, constant pressure timing, constant pressure timing, and flexural relaxation experiments, if you have not pressed the water button to add water before, you need to press the water button to automatically add water. This process can be omitted for the water seepage method.
Before all tests, fill the lower chuck with water and press the key to enter the calibration state to reset and clamp the sample.
1. Pressurization method:
After the test is ready, enter the method selection item in the setting, and set the ascent rate. Press the start button to start the test. When the third drop of water appears on the pattern, press the stop button. The instrument will automatically save the test data. After the test is completed, the piston will automatically return to its position.
2. Constant pressure timing method:
After the test is ready, set the ascent rate under the pressurization method, and then set the end pressure under the constant pressure timing method. Press the start button to start the test. When the first drop of water appears on the upper surface of the sample, press the stop button. The instrument will automatically save the test data. After the test is completed, the piston will automatically return to its position.

3. Constant pressure timing method:
After the test is ready, set the ascent rate under the pressurization method, and then set the end pressure and the constant pressure time under the constant pressure timing method. Press the start button to start the test. When the test is over, the piston will automatically return to position. Observe whether there are water drops on the upper surface of the pattern to determine whether the pattern is qualified.
4. Flexural relaxation method:
After the test is ready, set the ascent rate under the pressurization method, and then set the end pressure, the constant pressure time and the number of deflection under the flexural relaxation method. Press the start button to start the test. When the test is over, the piston will automatically return to position. Observe whether there are water drops on the upper surface of the pattern to determine whether the pattern is qualified.
5. Water seepage method: (constant speed)
After the test is ready, set the end pressure under the water leakage method, open the valve on the right, let off the residual water, and then place the measuring cup under the valve on the right. Press the start button to start the test. After the test is over, measure the water in the measuring cup and the test is complete.
 
If the required ascent rate is too high, you can use the water seepage method instead of the pressurization method. After the test is ready, set the end pressure under the water seepage method to 200KPa, press the start button to start the test, and press the stop button to end when the third drop of water appears , Just write down the test result manually.
