Product Details

The machine evaluates the water repellency (resistance to getting wet by water) of the fabric surface. The instrument is an all-metal frame. The sample is placed at a 45-degree angle at a certain distance directly below the nozzle, and a certain amount of distilled water is sprayed on the surface of the sample 150mm below the nozzle through a standard nozzle at 45° to produce a wet sample. Comparing the wet sample to the graph on the standard chart gives the wettability of the sample.
