Furniture leather general physical properties test methods are as follows.
1、Tearing force (bilateral tearing test)
Test method: test speed 100mm/min, the standard shape of the rectangular specimen (with a hole in the middle) is placed in the upper and lower two fixtures of the tensile tester on the test hook, tensile tester operation to achieve the maximum force for the tearing force of the specimen.
Result determination: a type of leather: tearing force ≥ 20N; two types of leather: tearing force ≥ 30N; three types of leather: tearing force ≥ 40N
2、Elongation at break
Recommended models: computerized pull leather tensile testing machine
Test method: the specimen in the test speed of 100mm / min rate is stretched to a pre-defined force value or until the specimen is pulled off until the degree of force and extension.
Result determination: one type, two types, three types of leather elongation at break range of 35 ~ 60%
3、Rubbing color fastness
Test method: glossy leather test head mass 1000g, suede test head mass 500g
Glossy leather: dry rubbing 500 times, wet rubbing 250 times, alkaline sweat: 80 times
Suede: dry rubbing 50 times, wet rubbing 20 times, alkaline sweat: 20 times
Glossy leather: Type I, Type II, Type III leather dry rubbing: ≥4
One type, two types, three types of leather wet rubbing: ≥3 grade
One type, two types, three types of leather sweat rubbing: ≥3 grade
Dry rubbing: ≥4/3 grade
Wet rubbing: 3 grade
Alkaline sweat: 3 levels
4、Fastness to folding
Test method: test speed 100 times / min, test angle 22.5 °, glossy leather test 20000 times
Result judgment: No crack on the specimen.
Recommended model: Xenon lamp aging tester
Bright cycle: black standard thermometer temperature 89℃, chamber temperature 62℃, relative temperature 50%, time 3.8h.
dark cycle: temperature 38 ℃, relative temperature 95%, time 1h.
Control wavelength of 340nm when the light intensity of 0.55W/m2, the end point is based on radiation energy, the total radiation energy at the end of exposure is 451.2KJ/m2. gray discoloration card for grade assessment.
The results are determined: ≥ 4 grade
Test method: take three samples, glossy leather with CS10 imported grinding wheel, place 1000g weight, test 500 rpm
Judgment: all three specimens are qualified without obvious damage and peeling.
7、Adhesion fastness of coating
Test method: test speed of (100 ± 5) mm / min, and can automatically record the force - distance graph, is the use of solvent-free adhesive, a part of the leather coating surface bonded to the adhesive plate, the free end of the strip of leather to apply force, so that the leather coating layer peel off the specified length, the coating layer by the adhesive adhesion on the adhesive plate, the size of the force applied as the coating layer to the leather adhesion fastness.
